Acura is the luxury vehicle division of Japanese automaker Honda Motor Company.[1] The Acura brand has been used in the US, Canada, and Hong Kong since March 1986 to market Honda's luxury and performance vehicles and near-performance vehicles. The brand was introduced to Mexico in 2004 and to China in 2006. Honda's plans to introduce Acura to the Japanese market have been repeatedly delayed: the 2008 launch date was put back to 2010[2] and then in a December 17, 2008 announcement[3] from Takeo Fukui, CEO of Honda, it was postponed to an undetermined date. With the Acura brand, Honda is credited with being the first Japanese company to tap into the foreign luxury market.[citation needed] Before Acura, exported Japanese automobiles primarily had a reputation for being economical in design and marketed on value instead of luxury

The Audi TT is now in its second generation — and both generations have been available in two car body styles; as a 2+2 Coupé (TT-C), or two-seater Roadster (TT-R). They have been built on consecutive generations of the Volkswagen Group A platform, starting with the A4 (PQ34). As a result of this platform-sharing, the Audi TT has identical powertrain and suspension layouts as its related platform-mates; this includes a front-mounted transversely orientated engine, front-wheel drive or a Haldex Traction-based quattro 'on-demand' four-wheel drive system, and fully independent front suspension using MacPherson struts.

The original B5 Audi RS4 Avant quattro (Typ 8D)[1] was introduced by AUDI AG in late 1999, for main production and sale from 2000, as the successor to the Porsche / quattro GmbH joint venture-developed Audi RS2 Avant. The vehicle, like its RS2 predecessor, was available only as an Avant (Audi's name for an estate car/station wagon), and was built on an existing platform, in this case the Volkswagen Group B5 platform shared with the A4 and S4. Retail price was around Deutsche Mark 103,584. The RS4 was available for sale in most of Europe, parts of Asia and in some Latin American countries.
Audi produced 6,030 units between 1999 and 2001.
[edit] B5 bodywork and styling
Although related to the Audi B5 S4, many of the outer body panels are altered, with wider front and rear wheel arches, to allow for the wider axle track on the RS4. With unique front and rear bumpers, and side sills, and sharing the rear spoiler from the S4 Avant, the aerodynamic modifications achieved a drag coefficient of Cd 0.34. Although the B5 S4 came in a saloon car body style, the B5 RS4 was only available in the Avant version.
Luggage space, measured according to the industry standard VDA method is 390 litres (13.8 cu ft) with the rear seats in the upright position, and 1,250 litres (44.1 cu ft) with the seats folded flat.

Audi A8

Audi A8 (D3)
Manufacturer : AUDI AG
Parent company : Volkswagen Group
(Volkswagen AG)
Production : 1994–present
Assembly : Neckarsulm, Germany
Predecessor : Audi V8
Class : Full-size luxury car
Body style(s) : 4-door saloon/sedan
Layout : Longitudinal front engine,
front-wheel drive or
quattro permanent four-wheel drive
Platform : Volkswagen Group D platform series
Related : Audi S8

The Audi A8 (Typ 4D) debuted in Europe in 1994, with factory production commencing June 1994,[1] although it was not until 1997 that it became available in North America. Unlike its predecessor, the Audi V8 model, which was built on an existing steel platform, the A8 debuted on the then-new Volkswagen Group D2 platform, an all aluminium monocoque, tagged as the "Audi Space Frame" (ASF), which helped to significantly reduce weight, without sacrificing structural rigidity. The saloon/sedan was offered in both the A8 (standard wheelbase), and the A8L extended or long-wheelbase (LWB) version. The A8L adds 5 inches (127 mm) of rear legroom. In addition to being the world's first car built on an entirely aluminium platform, updates to the car in 1997 included the addition of six interior airbags, making the A8 the first vehicle to be so equipped.
For 1997, the new A8 was available with either front-wheel drive (FWD), or the Torsen-based quattro permanent four-wheel drive. The FWD models are powered by a 2.8 litre V6 engine, producing 142 kilowatts (193 PS; 190 bhp), and 3.7 litre V8 engine producing 169 kilowatts (230 PS; 227 bhp), while the quattro received a 4.2 litre V8 producing 220 kilowatts (299 PS; 295 bhp).
The A8 is available with standard luxury amenities, including dual-zone climate control, wood and leather interior trim, 14-way power and heated seats, and an enhanced Bose audio system.

Audi A6

The Audi A6 is an executive car produced by the German automaker AUDI AG at their factory in Neckarsulm, Germany. It is available in both saloon, and Avant (Audi's term for an estate) body styles.
All generations of the A6, were available as either front-wheel drive, or with Audi's trademark Torsen-based quattro permanent four-wheel drive (4WD) system.
The second and third generation A6 were also used as the basis for the "Audi allroad quattro" and "A6 allroad quattro" models respectively.
